Bioclimatic roofs are the updated version of standard louvered/pergola roofs. Bioclimatic roof louvers rotate to expel heat during warm summer months and keep in heats when it gets colder. On the remote there are four preset louver positions but the louvers can be changed between the different levels. The Outdoor Living Group's bioclimatic louvred roofs are customisable. What this means is, lighting, side shades, heating and sliding glass panels can be incorporated as a later time to transform the roof to a closed room that can be enjoyed at any time of the year. Depending on your requirements, our louvered roofs can be installed as part of your current building or as a lone single standing units. When you add side glazing to the roof at any point in the construction, you create an insulated outdoor space that can be enjoyed no matter the weather. There are a number of optional extras that are available, these include LED lighting, outdoor blinds and electric heating. To reduce the sound of the rain on the roof and also to help maintain the heat during the winter months, internal blade insulation can be added within the louvers.
Our bioclimatic pergolas are designed to be able to rotate the louvers from 0 to 135 degrees quickly to easily aerate your garden.
