With years of experience, the outdoor living group have installed and provided Glass sunrooms across Redhill. Glass rooms or winter gardens are structures built with surrounding framed glass doors. Winter gardens are also referred to as glass rooms, solarium outdoor enclosures, patio rooms or Florida rooms. The major difference between a sunroom and a conservatory is its distinct glazed feature . A glass room is not affected by high temperatures in the summer months because the side glass panels can be pulled back to expel excess heat.

Glass Rooms: glass rooms are constructed with sturdy, long lasting single glazed doors and laminated glass roofs. This creates a space that provides a scenic view of the outdoors without insects, or weather conditions detracting from the experience.

In addition, you can include external side shades that come fitted with automatic sun sensors that track the movements of the sun.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
