Glass Sunrooms
Gaining in popularity in Hounslow, the Glass sunrooms from the outdoor living group offer a sleek look with expert installation. A structure that is encircled by a frameless door system is called a sunroom (winter garden). Glass sunrooms also go by the name glass rooms, solarium outdoor enclosures, Florida rooms or patio rooms. What differentiates a sunroom from a conservatory is its unique single glazed roof. Another feature of a glass room is its side panels that can be opened up to let in more air during the hot summer months.

One of the features that makes glass rooms very unique from the rest of the rooms in your home, is the amount of natural light that bathes and warms up the room. A glass room allows you to enjoy the outdoors of Hounslow no matter the weather; rain, sunny, snowy without having to give up the comfort that being indoors provides. Sunrooms are popular low-cost outdoor living spaces for homeowners especially as an extension of a lush backyard or garden. Sunrooms come in multiples design and style options that can be customised to fit even the most unique specifications. Winter gardens are also designed to perfectly match the existing style of your home.
The Different Types Of Sunrooms
Seasonal sunrooms: are not designed to be used with radiators or air conditioning. This type of sunrooms features single glazed doors and can be used every single day of the year.
Glass Rooms: are designed using laminated roof glass and strong toughened glass doors and retractable screens to create a room style that provides a scenic view of the outdoors. Which allows the homeowner to enjoy the pleasures of their garden free from insects and weather worries.
Solariums: provide an outdoor like aesthetic feeling because they are constructed majorly from glass. Which makes them the perfect spot for growing plants, entertaining or relaxing with a cup of tea. Solariums can either be used all year long or seasonally depending on design or construction.

Superb Playroom For Children.
If you have young children or grandchildren, a sunroom can make a great play area. It is a spacious room that the younger members of your family can enjoy.
Host Guests In Style
A sunny warm glass garden room is a great place to host all types of events- a candlelight dinner, birthday parties and so on. Your guests will definitely enjoy the time they spend in your sunroom.
Is it possible to have heating in a sunroom?
A sunroom can be heated in a couple of ways. You can also use compact radiant heaters to warm up the people in the room and not the room itself. This is the more efficient option. These are great options because they are powdered coated and can match the colour of your glass room.
Can a cooling system be installed in a sunroom?
Due to a glass garden's sliding glass panel doors, you really do not have to worry about heat. You can improve ventilation further by incorporating a retractable roof shade. In addition, you can include external side shades that come fitted with automatic sun sensors that track the movements of the sun.
FEATURED GLASS ROOM PROJECT
A contemporary glass room for outside dining
Mr & Mrs Farthing 5.7m x 3.0m glass room with integrated LED roof lighting, bespoke roof shade & dimmable heaters
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
