With years of experience, the outdoor living group have installed and provided Glass sunrooms across Southborough. Glass rooms or winter gardens are structures built with surrounding framed glass doors. A winter garden is also called a glass room, Florida room, patio room and a solarium outdoor enclosure. The major difference between a conservatory and a glass room is the single glazed feature of the glass roofs and the retractable side glazing elements. Glass rooms also remain cool in summer months due to the great air circulation created by opening all the sides up.

A glass room allows you to enjoy the outdoors of Southborough no matter the weather; rain, sunny, snowy without having to give up the comfort that being indoors provides. Home owners who want an outdoor living space that extends to their garden, go with sunrooms because they are affordable. Sunrooms can be constructed in many different styles and would work well with any kind of building or design style. Winter gardens are also constructed to blend in with the rest of a building for a seamless look.
Seasonal sunrooms provide a relaxing space that can be enjoyed all year round. They are designed with single glazed retractable glass panels screens or doors.
Glass Rooms: glass rooms are designed for the homeowner who would like to enjoy the beauty of their garden or lush backyard without having to deal with outside elements such as the weather or insects. These room style features laminated glass roofs and toughened single glazed glass doors.
Solariums: provide an outdoor like aesthetic feeling because they are constructed majorly from glass. Which makes them the perfect spot for growing plants, entertaining or relaxing with a cup of tea. Solariums can either be used all year long or seasonally depending on design or construction.

Most homebuyers in Southborough won't mind paying a little more money for a property that has a functional sunroom especially when it provides a scenic view. The return on investment would make this a worthwhile expenditure.
Sunrooms are built to let in as much natural light as possible. You also get to enjoy the sun's natural warmth in a sunroom which makes it a great relaxation space. Sit and enjoy a cup of tea in the morning or curl up to a good book in the evening.
By adding a sunroom to your home, you get more outdoor living space. In addition, you get a great outdoor space for relaxing during summer months, at the end of a stressful day or maybe hosting family and friends. A glass garden room would make a superb addition to your home in Southborough.
Sunrooms are beautiful and spacious, if you have young children or grandchildren, it would be the perfect spot for them to enjoy their toys or play games.
A sunny warm glass garden room is a great place to host all types of events- a candlelight dinner, birthday parties and so on. Your guests will definitely enjoy the time they spend in your sunroom.
Yes it can. There are a couple of heating methods that can be used in a sunroom. You can also use compact radiant heaters to warm up the people in the room and not the room itself. This is the more efficient option. These are great options because they are powdered coated and can match the colour of your glass room.
A glass garden room is constructed with sliding glass panels so, heat is not always an issue especially when a retractable roof shade is part of the design . You can have an automatic sun sensor affixed with an external side shade on the outside to track the movement of the sun.
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
