Working in West-Mersea, the outdoor living group have provided and installed many Glass sunrooms, with years of expertise. A building surrounded by frameless glass doors is called a sunroom. It is also referred to as a winter garden or glass room. Winter gardens also go by the name patio room, solarium outdoor enclosure or a patio room. The major difference between a conservatory and a glass room is the single glazed feature of the glass roofs and the retractable side glazing elements. Glass rooms also remain cool in summer months due to the great air circulation created by opening all the sides up.

Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
