Glass rooms are strikingly different from other rooms in a building because of the amount of natural light that comes into the room. Glass rooms allow you to enjoy the outdoors without having to deal with insects or the atmospheric conditions of Huntingdon. Homeowners often incorporate sunrooms as an inexpensive outdoor garden extension. A sunroom is also great home addition because it comes in a broad range of styles and designs. Winter gardens are also constructed to blend in with the rest of a building for a seamless look.
What Are The Different Types Of Winter Gardens?
Seasonal sunrooms are built with single glazed screens or doors. Even though they are not crafted for air conditioning or traditional heating products, seasonal sunrooms provide shade and have an open-air feature that can be enjoyed all year long.
Glassrooms: are built with sturdy laminated glass roofing and single glazed glass doors that creates a space where the homeowner can enjoy the outdoors without having to worry about insects, other pests or the weather.
Solariums: are made almost completely from glass. Which makes this type of sunroom look like an extension of a garden or backyard. Solariums can be enjoyed all year round depending on how it is constructed.

FEATURED GLASS ROOM PROJECT
A contemporary glass room for outside dining
Mr & Mrs Farthing 5.7m x 3.0m glass room with integrated LED roof lighting, bespoke roof shade & dimmable heaters
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
