Glass Rooms in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire
Glass Sunrooms
With years of experience, the outdoor living group have installed and provided Glass sunrooms across Bletchley. Glass rooms or winter gardens are structures built with surrounding framed glass doors. A winter garden is also called a glass room, Florida room, patio room and a solarium outdoor enclosure. The major difference between a sunroom and a conservatory is its distinct glazed feature . A glass room is not affected by high temperatures in the summer months because the side glass panels can be pulled back to expel excess heat.

Glass rooms are strikingly different from other rooms in a building because of the amount of natural light that comes into the room. In Bletchley, sunrooms are the perfect space because you can enjoy the comfort of being indoors while enjoying an outdoor view. Home owners who want an outdoor living space that extends to their garden, go with sunrooms because they are affordable. A sunroom is also great home addition because it comes in a broad range of styles and designs. Winter gardens are also constructed to blend in with the rest of a building for a seamless look.
What Is The Difference Between The Types Of Sunrooms?
Seasonal sunrooms are custom built with single glazed doors that offer natural ventilation and shade that can be enjoyed all year long. They are however not built to be used with a conditioning or traditional heating like radiators.
Glass Rooms: are designed using laminated roof glass and strong toughened glass doors and retractable screens to create a room style that provides a scenic view of the outdoors. Which allows the homeowner to enjoy the pleasures of their garden free from insects and weather worries.
Solariums: can either be constructed to be used all year round or seasonally. They are made almost entirely from glass which creates a room that provides a striking view of the outdoors.

FEATURED GLASS ROOM PROJECT
A contemporary glass room for outside dining
Mr & Mrs Farthing 5.7m x 3.0m glass room with integrated LED roof lighting, bespoke roof shade & dimmable heaters
Our vision was to have a very minimal and low maintenance garden that was going to be usable all year round. Our designer Martyn came out to meet us and immediately we were sold on the frameless doors as this would give us the view we were looking for.
The designIt was a pleasure to work on this project helping to create the Farthings’ vision of what an outdoor living experience should be. We delivered the solution they required without any compromise in design or practicality resulting in a great outdoor living area. The glass roof section of the glass garden room had a balcony cut-out in the middle to work around the protruding doors and windows in the centre of the property. We constructed a raised substructure which the room was built off and finished the surface with composite decking.
